The next generation Japanese dumpling. Offering the same subtle spicing and soft bite as the pork-based originals, these gyozas are a deliciously healthy update of one of the Far East’s most beloved snacks. Instead of ground pork, the filling is made from heart-healthy pea protein – combined with cabbage, soy sauce and the authentic Japanese flavours of rice wines sake and mirin. Quick and easy to cook straight from frozen, they can be oven baked in 10 minutes or deep fried in 5. They can also be served as part of a main, alongside dishes like fried rice, stir fried vegetables or noodle soup.
