The Whelks is a well-known slave-like known as Common Whelk International. The Whelks occurs in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean from Norway to Spain and from Iceland to the coast of North America to a depth of 1200 m. The Whelks is a coiled conical conchshell and has a light tan colored shell that can reach a length of 11 cm. The Whelks is a real asetter. In the winter season the wulk goes couples. It is remarkable that the Whelks is often chased out of z’n house by the heremite lobster.
