Masago (orange) is also internationally known as capelin cavear. Masago is a Japanese name for the calf that originally originated from the melt. Melt is a family of sand eel and occurs in the waters of the Baltic Sea and the northern Atlantic. Masago has a crispy texture with a nice bite. This masago is made of a mix of 45% capelin roe and 43% haring roe.
