Frituren
1. Heat 2-4 cm vegetable oil in a frying pan or deep fryer. (Fry a piece of pappadum to see if the oil is hot enough. If it expands immediately, the temperature is correct). 2. Because the pappadums expand strongly, they should be fried piece by piece for 2-3 seconds until they are crispy. 3. Remove the pappadum from the pan with tongs and let it drain on kitchen paper. ATTENTION: Be careful with hot oil.
Magnetron
1. Brush a pappadum on both sides with vegetable oil. 2. Place the pappadum in the microwave and cover with kitchen paper. 3. Heat on the highest setting for 30 seconds until the pappadum is completely expanded. These instructions are for guidance only. The power of your microwave may be different, adjust the preparation time accordingly.
