* PREPARATION METHOD: Baking: After defrosting, fry in a pan or on a baking tray in some oil (do not fry). Minimum 3 minutes, stir well.
* SERVING TIP: We recommend this in a Durum (wrap) or sandwich (pita bread) with your own fresh crunchy salad (leaf lettuce, tomato, cucumber) and with a tasty (garlic) sauce. Also delicious as 'Vegan loaded fries' with fries, crunchy red cabbage and a vegan cheese sauce.

The homemade wheat texturate is inpired on a centuries-old process, originally from Japan. It resembles seitan, which literally means "full of protein," which has been prepared traditionally for hundreds of years. It is made from wheat flour and water. By repeatedly rinsing the dough, the wheat protein, the gluten, remains. The gluten mass is cooked in water or (vegetarian) broth until a product has a spongy texture and a savory flavor.

Rational oven: voorverwarmen op 210C, daarna beladen en dan 8 minuten bakken op 190C - met 50% stoom. Pas op voor uitdrogen
