Japanese breadcrumbs
Panko breadcrumbs are airdried and therefore have a more neutral taste. Panko is coarser in texture, lighter, slightly sweeter and crunchier than regular breadcrumbs. Dishes prepared with panko have a lighter character and a more refined taste. Use panko with your schn itzel, meatloaf, mac & cheese, apple pie, meatballs, salmon filet, crab cakes or tori katsu.
