Kataïfi string dough
Kataïfi string dough/shredded dough is a type of thin string, made from flour and water poured through a sieve onto a hot metal griddle. These noodles, very thin and resembling vermicelli or angel hair, are used in the Middle East and around the Mediterranean to make certain desserts such as kenafeh and baklava.
