    Velvety red wine sauce prepared with Barbera d'Asti: red wine from the Piedmont, inspired by the traditional Italian stew ‘Brasato al Barbera’.

      Description

      Brasato al Barbera is a traditional Italian dish from Piedmont. The meat is marinated in Barbera wine, seared and cooked slowly, in broth and Barbera wine. After hours of stewing, the result is tender, spicy meat with a rich red hue. If you have less time in your kitchen, use Hügli's velvety sauce to create the same dish: a delicious fusion of wine and gastronomy.

      Ingredients

      Water, 15% red wine Piemonte Barbera DOC (contains SULFITES), 10% carrots, 8% onions, 6,5% beef bone broth (beef bones, water, salt), 4% beef extract, modified starch, sugar, 2% CELERY STALK, 2% tomato puree, garlic,
      rice flour, caramelised sugar, yeast extract, herbs, sunflower oil, salt, spice, aroma, thickener (xanthan gum, guar gum).
