The catfish (Anarhichas lupus) is known for its firm, white meat with a mild, refined taste. catfish is a bizarre looking fish and has a monstrous appearance that has no resemblance. catfish comes from a small family and has 4 species. catfish has a long stretched body that is predominantly gray in color and sometimes has slightly dark colored vertical stripes on its flank. catfish has a large thick round head with a row of impressive large blunt teeth that are also present in its palate with which the catfish pulverize crabs, lobsters, shellfish such as clams and even sea urchins with great ease. catfish is found in the waters of the North Atlantic from Canada to Greenland and Iceland. This sample is also found in the North Sea to Norway. catfish swims to a depth of 500 m and can reach a length of 150 cm with a weight of 20 kg.
