Gerookte haring heel
De gerookte haringkoning is een zeer traditioneel product. In de tijd van de Zuiderzee werd de haringfilet al op deze manier gerookt. In het wapen van de gemeente Enkhuizen is de haring ook terug te vinden. Rijk aan vitamine D en Omega 3 vetzuren. Voor de horeca doet de haringkoning het altijd goed op een buffet. De haring is warm gerookt op beukenhout. Dit geeft een specifieke en onderscheidende smaak aan de producten. Duurzaamheid is een belangrijke drijfveer. Daarom is de haring voorzien van het MSC label.
